Weybourne Sheds.

Initially much of the restoration work was done in the open at Sheringham. This was far from idea and when, the old shed from Norwich City station became available it was bought and erected at Weybourne in 1980. Work began developing the yard at Weybourne, allowing maintenance to move away from the more urban surroundings at Sheringham.

This was extended in 1990 by the addition a period style machine shop. In 2000 part of a redundant diesel shed from March, Cambridgeshire was rebuilt here, allowing coach restoration & maintenance to move under cover for the first time.

A substantial grant from European Objective 2 funds enabled the sheds to be joined up and extended. This resulted in a doubling in size of covered accommodation. Now most of the fleet of locos cab be kept under cover.

The machine shop and maintenance facilities have been modernised, and new accommodation for volunteers & staff developed.
