Brief Outline

101 681 was built in 1958 by Metro Cammell and was withdrawn by Network Rail in 2002. It finished work at Longsight depot, Manchester. It was bought by NNR plc and arrived on the NNR on Friday 8th August 2003. It was sourced from Serco at the MoD site at Shoeburyness. It is fitted with two Leyland 6-cylinder 150bhp horizontal engines.
