Brief Outline

J21 (65033), previously based at Beamish, is to be restored at the NNR.
The work will take place in the the newly refurbished and extended engine sheds at Weybourne. Work is planned to started in early 2006 and is expected to take about 30 months.
Once restoration is finished the J21 engine will join the J15 on the NNR.
The J21 will remain on loan to the NNR for the next twenty years. In return there will be regular visits to Beamish by one of the NNR engines to demonstrate steam at the museum.
