Staying of the firebox should start 16th Nov. The foundation ring riveting is now nearly complete. New gauge glass fittings are to be purchased in the near future. Meanwhile, welding repairs to the saddletank are now complete and painting is ongoing.
New oil pots are being cast via Embsay.
The boiler, smokebox and cab and running board will be finished, before the return to Weybourne. Further work will be needed to the lubrication, running gear, coupling rod bushes, motion and vacuum gear.
Recent invoicing has reduced the available funds for the project to around £18k.
