are we?

The William Marriott Museum
building houses many artefacts, documents and other bygones
from the age of steam in East Anglia. Outside, the full
5 ¼ miles of the Poppy Line are packed with a multitude
of working museum items, such as the buildings and general
railway infrastructure, the locomotives and rolling stock
and a truly historic signalling system
Opening hours
The Museum is now open on days when
trains are running.

to reach the Museum

By road.
Holt is on the A148 Kings Lynn
- Cromer road. The station is signposted from the roundabout
at Holt

Car and coach parking is available
Holt Station.
By rail.
You may choose to travel to
Holt on a Poppy Line train from either Sheringham or Weybourne.

Car and bus parking is available
at Sheringham (Council Pay & Display),
Parking is free at Weybourne
although space is very limited and may not be available
during special events.
