Join a Special Interest Clubs
To make sure we have the funds to restore, maintain and run the
engines and vehicles in our care, we encourage members and fellow
enthusiasts to join one of our dedicated Special Interest Clubs.
These clubs offer a diverse range of benefits – plus the
satisfaction of doing your bit to preserve a priceless heritage.
If you are a UK taxpayer, the Gift Aid scheme covers donations to
the Society and Joint Heritage Coach Fund. Under Gift Aid, the
Society can claim back 25p for every pound donated – making your
contribution worth £1.25. Please make sure you fill out the Gift Aid
declaration in the leaflet if you wish your donation to be worth
more. (If you have filled out a Gift Aid
declaration for the Society, all your donations will already be covered)

Joint Heritage Coach Fund
The Joint Heritage Coach Fund (JHCF) is responsible for restoration
of the Society's collection of coaches and wagons. Often the
Cinderella's of the preservation movement, we hope to restore two
passenger sets to provide a cross-section of East Anglian railway
travel over the last 125 years. Thanks to the support already
received by the JHCF some of these vehicles have been restored and entered service:
The Quads, LNER Pigeon Van No. 6843, M&GN Third No. 129, W&U Tramcar No. 7,
the Colmans Van and M&GN
Brake van No. 12. We need your support to continue
the work.
