The crane
was built to drawing number 80117 and
was delivered as new to the LNER,
possibly with the number 900749. It was
transferred into BR ownership on
nationalisation and was renumbered
DE331332 (D=Departmental, E=Eastern).
Purchased from BR in 1980, the crane was
delivered by road to the NNR on 7th
August 1981. The crane that exists today
is the Norwich crane with the ropes and
spare boiler from the Diss crane. |
